Have we given in already? Keep up the fight

Have we already given up in the fight for our foutain? I have been visiting here every so often and have not seen one new posting or anybody posting to the recent ones that have been posted by others and myself. We can't lose hope we have to remain strong you show signs of weekness and that's when people like the mayor will crush you cause as a result now he will feel or know he has the upper hand here we can't have him think that we people show no intrest anymore. Thats exactly what he's hoping for. You must inform friends and let everyone that you know about this site and keep posting often. Remeber there's a saying that the sqeecky wheel always gets greased well we are not squeecky enough. We must make ourselvse heard by these dumbf*cks so that we get our point across. Remeber Speak Often and Speak loudly thats how you get heard by these people hit them where it hurts keep up the fight for our fountain. Posted by keep the past alive. P.S I hope those of you who read this may take the time to post replies or do your own postings we have to keep up the fight otherwise we are like a dieing flame with nothing more than a few timbers left to burn on before we burn out.

I get the feeling from some emails I have received that with the current Political situation that whatever the Mayor wants to do will end up being the result as we hear words and see announcements about Public Hearings but has anyone seen a specific Hearing announced? 

I haven't given up but unless a lot of folks start making noise this web site alone isn't going to prevent the Fountain from being destroyed.

Call and write to Mayor and your local Representatives.  If anyone has a contact in the Media see if we can't get some publicity in the News or paper...

Thanks Bob I appreciate that someone veiws my posting's. But I agree we would defenitly need some media publicity to bring this into peoples attention. Also I think that if some people were willing to devote there time to put up signs to bring peoples attention to it as there are alot of people downtown who may not be aware of the situation.
